Teacher goals:
1. to create a global classroom environment in order to help my students understand the background and the cultures of their online peers.
2. To provide my students with a unique educational experience that promotes their literacy and cross- cultural communication.
3. To help my students to become global citizen by collaborating with other students from different part of the world.
4. To encourage the use of the internet as a positive and rewarding educational experience. Most of my students do not know how to use the web.
5. To integrate technology inside my classroom through the use of the website" my hero" and the online collaboration "IEARN".
6. To find and meet potential partners from different parts of the world in order to share our ideas about the projects we are implementing with our students.
Student goals:

- To increase their understanding of the concept of heroes and heroism.
- To help my students to learn about a particular famous heroes in the world.
- To help my students to identify their own heroes.
- To help them to participate in writing activities.
- To help them to promote critical thinking skill regarding the meaning of a hero and impact of heroes and heroism.
- To help them to learn how to use the internet to do research.
- To help students to work together to edit their hero stories.
- To help students to develop important life skills.
- To help my students to overcome great obstacles and achieve their dreams by following the footsteps of their heroes.
• What knowledge will students acquire by engaging in this project?
Cultural awareness, technical skills, critical thinking skill, web-based technology skill, research skill, literacy skills and computer skills.
• What subject terms, principles and facts related to the curriculum will students learn through this project?
Heroes, heroism, peer editing, researching, drawing, writing, presenting, drafting, giving feedback, sharing, practicing English in meaningful way, typing, using web-based technology, interviewing and critical thinking.
• What are your state, local, and/or national curriculum standards that this project addresses? Include required technology standards if applicable.
1. To help pupils read extensive readings for information, pleasure and enlightenment.
2. To develop in the learners the ability to promote the writing skill until they are able to write a complete paragraph and are ready to do any writing.
3. Cooperate with their classmates to complete certain tasks.
4. Exchange information with others and express opinions about certain topics.
5. To use technology inside classrooms.
