My Role Model - Mr. Gang won il
my middle school teacher

Da-min Shin

Have you ever met your best teacher? I have met my best teacher in my middle school third grade and his my hero, too. I respect him because he always took care of his class students. When I was middle school students, I always calm and resolved myself so many teachers did not attention to me. but he is different. He attention all of his class students. Even if me. When my friend had a bad happening, he helped her as if it was his matter. My friend and I was impressed him solved that happening. at that time, He was so kind. He always think about "How can I get closer to my students." so, he told his stories funny, helps to life to us. And he always help to get good memories in middle school third grade. so we took camping in school, eat bacon, watch movie and go hiking. Because of him, we have a good memories to him and school.

He looks to other people. He never says negative words to other people. and When he reproached someone in rude words, he would apologize first before the other do. He always say "I'm sorry." even if his students. That is impressed to me. No one teacher doesn't say sorry to students before I met him. That is change my mind to teacher. and he didn't like someone worries him. When he was so sick, he didn't say crybaby words.

Now he passed away in september 28th, 2010. My class students will don't forget memories with him, and we congratulate his the last student.

My Role Model - King SeJong the Great

Tae-woo In

Topic setence 1 : I want to learn spirit of King Se-jong.

a. His Family is two sons and one daugther
   - To talk about his family, He is very famous a great man in South Korea. Every Korean knows and respect him. Sejong the Great, who ruled between 1418 and 1450, is the 4th king of the Chosun dynasty. He is the son of King Taejong and Queen Won-Kyung, and the husband of the daughter of Shim-on, Seo-hun. King Sejongs given name is Doe, and his adult name is Won-Jung.

b. His Achievements
-Sejong loved his people and dedicated his entire rule to working as one with them. Amongst many other accomplishments, Sejong gathered all the agricultural and medical knowledge scattered throughout the country and created a complete, unified system molded specifically for the Chosun Kingdom. However, his best known and arguably most important feat is the creation of Hangul, considered one of the most advanced written languages in today’s world. Historically speaking, the creation of Hangul is Korea's foremost cultural heritage and one of the great intellectual achievements by the human race.

c. Other Achievements
  - He recruited talented geniuses to develop the nation. For example Rain Gauge, Sundial, and Jagyeokru etc. Also He sent Jong-Mu Lee to explore and invade Tsushima Island. Then He expanded the empire to the north and installed 4 armies and 6 camps
d. Thinking of me
  - I think Sejong is the one of the best great people. Because he loved all his people and made Hangul. Hangul is very comfortable language in the world. but sad point is made the Korean language in secret so there aren't many records on the exact date.

Conclusion.
   - Every Korean respects him and pride. Let's learn Hangul's excellence and love the Hangul.

My Role Model - My Mother by Jeonghye Yoon

first draft

                                  My Role Model- My Mother

Do you have a role model? Who is your specific person who inspired you a lot in your life? If someone ask me who my hero is, I would say "My mother" without hesitant. I admire her because she has strong personalities. She never waists her time. She was always busy in taking several roles at the same time: mother, wife, teacher, herself. I think it is a person's basic desire to be relaxed and often to be lazy. However, in my entire life, I never saw her doing nothing and just relaxing.
She also has a strong will power to put her goals into practice. She went to a graduate course when I was 10. I often observed her reading books and writing reports and thesis. She got her driver's license on her first trial in her early 50's, while I got mine on my 5th trial in my early 20's.
I respect her because took two models in a perfect way : a devoted mother and a professional teachers. She was a breadwinner when all family members suffer from father's failure in business. She always tired to teach her 3 children good manners, motto, behaviors, and positive attitude toward our lives. She took good care of 3 children so they received good education and had established careers in their life.
My mother passed away last year. her lessons and attitude will be always remain in my whole life. I am the sum of her devotion and efforts. There in no one who can be the replacement of my mother as my role model. She is the most powerful person in my whole life. Mother, are you doing fine up there? I miss you a lot!!

My hero: Mary Kingsley

My hero: Mary Kingsley

A hero is a person who cares about people and who has a kind heart for poor people. He/She is a person who wants to make the world a better place to live in. There are many qualities that can be used to refer back to a hero which are: a visionary, confident and intelligent. There are many actions that a person can do in order to consider him/her as a hero. A hero is a person who helps poor people and teaches uneducated people. He is also a person who fights for the rights of his/her people. These are just few examples of some of the actions done by a hero. In this essay I am going to write about my hero. Her name is "Mary Kingsley".

Mary Kingsley was born in London on 2nd of October 1862. She didn't go to school but she read all the books in her father's library. She was a clever girl. When she grew up, she decided to become an explorer.  She went to many countries, to have more information about the things that she studied. She also wrote many books to spread her knowledge about the things that she saw while she was traveling by writing them down in books.

I choose this person as my hero because she was a woman who achieved her dreams to go and explore the world although she was young.

My hero: Dr. Tariq Asswidan

My hero: Dr. Tariq Asswidan

The word "hero" has a lot of definition and it may differ from one person and other according to his/her point of view. For me a hero is someone who has an impact on someone else's life. A hero can be a visionary, unselfish, confident, brave, popular and educated person. Some may disagree with me regarding some characteristics but this is my point of view. It is not something fixed. However, but what makes a person a hero? It is difficult questions to ask but is you ask me, I will say that a hero is a person who helps poor people and saves the lives of unfortunate people. Moreover, a hero is a person who gives advice for people who need help. In this essay I am going to write about my hero. His name is Tariq Asswidan.

My hero name is An Arabic figure. His name is Tariq Mohammed Asswidan. He was born in Kuwait in 1953. He has a PHD in Oil Engineering from Telsar University, Oklahoma (USA).

Dr. Tariq sifted his interests from focusing in his career into focusing in the progress of his nation and its youth. Some may wonder what kind of a person who leaves his career in order to advice some people about certain issues related to their religion and life which they can gain this knowledge at school or through dealing people. All I can say that this person is a great visionary person. He held a lot of conferences and seminars regarding this issue. He is the author of the following books: "Success Making", "How do you change yourself' and "The Art of Impressive Recitation".

I choose this person as my hero because he has the ability to a waken minds, wills and shipment of the mind. He also has the ability to influence people and helps them to follow the right tracks in their life by holding seminars. All of his work is presented in a renewed revolt against the inertia of creativity and revolution on the simulation. I really would like to follow his track. I also wish to have the ability to influence people and take apart in changing their life as he did and still doing.

At last, it is very important to have a hero in our life. Our heroes will always guide as to right way and make us do the right things.

My hero: Helen Keller

My hero: Helen Keller

A hero is a person who you want to be like her/him in the future. He/She is a person who you consider as a model to follow. The word hero is given to a person who does whatever he can in order to help people and tries to solve their problem, so there are many qualities can be used to describe a hero. A hero can be honest, brave, visionary and helpful person. In this essay I am going to write about my heroine "Helen Keller".

Who is Helen Keller? Helen Keller was born on 27 June 1880 in Tuscumbia, a small town in the USA. She was a normal, healthy baby but she got ill when she was nineteen months as a result she lost her sight and hearing. She became blind and deaf. Her parents took her to doctors to help her but they couldn't. So Alexander Graham Bill suggested to them to ask for a teacher from Perkins School for the blind. They found a teacher for their daughter, her name was Annie Sullivan. In 1887, Annie arrived to Tuscumbia and immediately she started to use finger spelling in Helen's hand to name objects. Helen quickly learned the finer spelling pattern but she thought it was kind of a game and did not understand that it was the names of the objects. One day she discovered that it was not a game but the names of the objects that she touched since then she never stopped learning till she learned how to read and write with Braille. By the age of 8 years she went with Annie to the Perkins School for the blind. At the end of the school, Helen decided to go to collage where normal study. She graduated in 1904.

While Helen was in collage she wrote a book called "The Story of my Life" .later on, she wrote another two books about her life. Helen became very famous and spent much of her life traveling all around the world giving lectures and telling people how they could help the blind and deaf. When she got older she spent her time in the USA helping to raise money for deaf and blind people.

If you asked me why I choose this person as my heroine all I can say that she deserve to be a heroine. She faced a lot of challenges since her childhood and   also in the collage but that did not stop her from achieving her dreams. She also supported blind and deaf people by giving lectures about helping them while she was traveling. Moreover, she lived to raise money form them when she was old. I really admire her that is why I decided to be a teacher for blind and deaf children in the future. I hope that I will achieve this dream.

At last, it is very important to have heroes or heroines in our life because they are a model for us to follow. We can also learn from them good things about life. So, if you have a hero or a heroine and you love them so much try to be like them and follow their steps.

My hero: John Cena

My hero: John Cena

A hero is a person who you want to be like him/her in the future. He/She is also a person who you always imitate and whom you love very much. In brief, a hero is a person whom you consider as a model to follow. There are many qualities that can be said about a hero such as the hero should be positive character, honest, helpful, thoughtful and brave. The hero does many things such as he/she tries hard to help others. He/She also thinks of people around him/her and tries to make them happy. However, in this essay I am going to write about my hero, his name is John Cena.

Who is John Cena? John Cena is a very famous wrestler. His full name is John Felix Anthony Cena. He is the second eldest of five brothers: Dan, Matt, Steve and Sean. Cena was born on 23rd of April in 1977, in west Newbury, Massachusetts. He is the son of Carol and John Cena. John graduated from Springfield in 1998 with a degree in exercise physiology, after which he pursued a career in body building.

John worked as chauffeur for a limousine company before he started his career in wrestling. He participated in some championships and he defeated a lot of heavy weight wrestlers. He won his first Heavy Weight Championship by defeating Chris Jericho. He continued his career in wrestling. He won in some games as well as he lost in some games. In 2001, he signed a developmental contract with the world Wrestling Federation (WWF) and he was assigned to its developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). During his time he wrestled as both the proto type and Mr. P and he held the OVW Heavy Weight Championship for three months.

If you ask me why I consider John Cena as my hero even though I am girl and girls are not supposed to watch wrestling or even choose a man as their hero but all I can say that it does not matter whether you choose a man or a woman as a hero what important is that you choose someone who has great impact in your life and he/she push you forward to achieve your dream. I like John Cena because even though he lost a lot of competitions every time he tries to come back but this does not prevent him from achieving his dreams which is to return his title for heavy weight champion. I admire him a lot for that and I will follow his steps to achieve my own dreams. I will not let anything to frustrated me or discourage me from achieving them.

At last, having a hero is a very great thing to spread the justice everywhere in this world and to fight all the problems that we face every day in our life as our hero or heroine did.
